NAD is an important coenzyme working in every cell of our body, and its full name is Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide. NAD exists in two forms in the body: NAD+ and NADH. The primary role of NAD in the body is to transfer energy from one cell to another. NAD is how we convert energy from food into cellular energy. We also use NAD to ensure proper cellular functioning, protect our DNA as we age, maintain a healthy metabolism, and maintain our circadian rhythms. NAD+ transforms the energy we eat, from food. into the energy, our cells need for chemical reactions. It is a major player in skeletal muscle development, regeneration, aging, and disease. Without NAD+ our body wouldn't be able to metabolize fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. It controls our calcium levels and acts as a powerful antioxidant, It also helps regulate the genes that accelerate the aging process.

NAD & TELOMERES

NAD helps in critical repair processes. It helps us repair our DNA when it's been damaged. It helps us lengthen our telomeres. Telomeres lengthening allow our cells to keep on dividing healthily, in perpetuity. Lengthening telomeres and repairing DNA are thought to be two foundational processes that we need to keep up at a high rate, in order to live a long healthy life.

PROGRESSIVE DECREASE OF NAD+

Lifestyle factors can accelerate the decline of NAD+ in our cells, including stress, medications, alcohol, and poor diet.  Unfortunately, our NAD+ levels deplete as we grow older, getting in the way of our body’s natural ability to repair itself. As NAD+ levels decrease, the physical symptoms of aging increase. And as our levels decline our metabolism changes. As a result, our mental and physical health can decline.

An  Increase in NAD+ Levels May Help with:

  • COGNITION: Fuzzy memory or slow thought processes commonly arise with aging. Research on mice, however, suggests that sirtuins (in the hippocampus) may be connected to bolstering memory and learning, thereby improving mental performance and fighting memory loss... Therefore, NAD+ intake may aid in improving brain health by refining neuron functionality; protecting cells from toxicities; and encouraging optimal mitochondrial functioning. Increasing the NAD+ level in the cells may also help prevent or help the brain from age-related cognitive decline..

  • HEALTH RECOVERY: Drug and alcohol overindulgence is known to cause damage to the body and brain. As per studies, NAD+ levels have been shown to decline from overdrinking. NAD+ intake, though, may help address these adverse brain chemical changes. By replenishing your supply of neurotransmitters, NAD+ intake may assist in reducing cravings while helping to overcome brain fog, weakness, and anxiety due to the cessation of drugs and alcohol.

  • SPORTS INJURIES: Sports injuries sometimes cause our cells to weaken and swell. Cumulative NAD+ levels, though, may help increase the blood flow surrounding the injured area, encouraging the body to restore itself from inflammation. With a consistent intake of NAD+, physically active individuals may experience an improvement in energy levels and metabolism. Regular NAD+ intake may also help prevent injuries and inflammation from muscle overuse.

  • FATIGUE: Although the causes of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) are indefinite, upping NAD+ levels may help ease some of the discomforts of this disorder. In the body, NAD+ naturally lifts the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which your cells need for energy. NAD+ intake may assist in supplying your cells with further energy; this may result in lessening the side effects of chronic fatigue.

  • INFLAMMATION: Regular NAD+ intake might encourage sirtuins, an enzyme, to prevent or rectify the DNA damage caused by inflammation. Sirtuins also have the ability to shield your body from amyloid proteins linked to neurodegenerative ailments, including Alzheimer’s disease. As sirtuins rely heavily on NAD+, upping your NAD+ may help further protect the brain from these amyloid proteins..

Q & A

Should I take Recharge NAD with a meal?

While there are benefits to consuming Recharge NAD with a meal, it can be taken at a time that is most convenient for you – with or without food.

Do I have to take both Recharge NAD capsules at one time, or can I take one in the morning and one in the evening?

You can personalize how you take your Recharge NAD to make it a convenient part of your daily wellness routine. If you prefer to take one capsule with breakfast and the other capsule with dinner, that is great! If you prefer to take them both at one time, that is also fantastic. What matters most is making sure you take two capsules daily to receive consistent benefits.

Can I take Recharge NAD on Cleanse Days?

Yes. If daily dietary supplements are a part of your regular Cleanse Day schedule, then Recharge NAD can be included as part of your routine at zero cleanse credits per serving.

What makes Recharge NAD bright blue in color?

The bright blue color of Recharge NAD comes from spirulina, a type of algae that has a natural blue-green color.

Why is the oil in some of my Recharge NAD capsules green?

The color of the oil in Recharge NAD capsules develops a light greenish tint shortly after it is produced. This is a normal process that doesn’t have any impact on the potency, safety, or quality of Recharge NAD.

The oil inside Recharge NAD capsules is naturally a light-yellow color. When some of the blue pigment from the outer part of the beadlets combines with the yellow oil, it results in a slight greenish tint.

Does Recharge NAD contain caffeine?

Recharge NAD does not contain caffeine or other stimulant ingredients. It aids in cellular energy by supplying NADH to our mitochondria, the powerhouses of our cells, to help form ATP, the energy currency of our cells.

Temperatures can be extreme where I live, and Recharge NAD sat on my porch for a few hours. Is it still ok to use?

Recharge NAD has undergone testing in extreme summer heat and winter freezing conditions. If your product sat at your doorstep longer than you had hoped, you can rest assured that it is still the same great product as when it left the manufacturing facility. You may notice a slightly oily residue when handling the capsules. This is not leakage, but rather a little excess oil from the capsule filling process.

Who can use Recharge NAD?

Recharge NAD is suitable for adults 18 years of age or older. It is always recommended that you consult with your doctor about your dietary supplement use while pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have a medical condition.
